DMG Spindle has combined the speed of multi-spindle automatic turn-milling with the versatility of sliding-headstock (Swiss-type) technology to launch two new machines with up to 41 CNC axes at this year’s EMO machine tool show. The multis are manufactured at the group.
We are able to repair direct drive HMC spindles, and can test and replace any type of components that are needed in their repair; including sensors, encoders, proximity switches and other electrical components.
The use of hybrid bearings is standard in all the models. With the use of hybrid bearings, the shaft diameters of the all the models have been increased to give much higher stiffness as compared to the old models with steel bearings. Higher motor power is provided to make the maximum use of the mechanical strength of the spindle.
